These are practices required to impact Knowledge, skills and attitudes in sustainable construction methodologies by use of energy efficient, conservative and eco-friendly material, tools and equipment It involves carrying out site preliminary work, performing civil temporary works, executing substructure works in a manner that will preserve heritage, improve and promote infrastructure development

This unit specifies the competencies required to carry out environmentally conscious site surveys. These are activities that determine the geographical positioning of the building. It involves undertaking preliminary site surveys, setting out civil structures and establishing survey control points by use of methodologies that are energy efficient, digitized and ecofriendly.
